Devon Cake Recipe
Ingredients
¼ cup soft butter¾ cup sugar
½ cup milk
1 teaspoon vanilla
1½ cups flour
3 teaspoons baking powder
Instructions
1.Mix and sift the flour, sugar and baking powder together.2.Put the egg whites, butter, vanilla and milk together, and beat with a Dover egg beater until light.
3.After this, stir in the dry ingredients.
4.Turn into a loaf tin, or bake in layers.
